Who I Work With

  • Individuals and couples navigating sexual shame, intimacy struggles, or desire differences.

  • Survivors of CPTSD, religious trauma, or abusive relationships

  • LGBTQIA+ and polyamorous clients working on identity

  • People seeking body-positive, Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned therapy

  • Neurodivergent clients: While I am neurotypical, my immediate family is neurodivergent in various ways, and a large percentage of my clients are autistic, ADHD, or both. I strive to create an affirming space to explore how your neurodivergence has shaped your life, whether you’ve known about it for a long or are just beginning to understand it. Together we focus on recognizing and using your unique strengths to build a life that is authentic and supportive of your needs.

My Approach

I integrate evidence-based therapies that meet you where you are:

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems) – identify and care for protective and wounded parts

  • EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) – build secure emotional bonds in relationships

  • Narrative Therapy – reframe harmful stories and reclaim your voice

  • Somatic Practices – bring healing and safety back into your body

A Little About Me

I grew up in Oregon and recently moved to Fergus Falls, Minnesota to live a slower life and be closer to my partner’s family. My personal journey deeply informs my work: I was raised in an abusive patriarchal religious home, where I wasn’t free to live authentically. That upbringing led to perfectionism and people-pleasing, and my sexuality was silenced and shamed.

Healing my own trauma allowed me to reclaim my sexual self — and inspired me to help others do the same. I bring this focus into my work with individuals and couples, helping clients understand how their childhood experiences shape their relationships, sexuality, and intimacy. Using IFS and EFT, we track the parts of yourself that react to and create reactions within partnerships, so you can cultivate safety, authenticity, and connection.

My interests include:

  • Spending time with my many animals: dogs, a cat, bunnies, and fish

  • Being in nature, especially around water

  • Expressing creativity through painting, drawing, and sculpting

  • Spending time with my husband and two daughters
